Presbyterian Women Purpose

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit,
we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

To support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the

The theme was “Celtic Spirituality: A Rich Spiritual Experience”, led by Jane MacDonald, past moderator of Presbyterian Women in the Synod of the Northeast. During our time together we explored: Seven characteristics of Celtic Spirituality, enjoyed hands on activities, prayed as the Celts did/do, looked at Celtic symbols and art, and listened to Celtic music.
